LOCATING GRAYSON HIGHLANDS BASE CAMP
We’re located in the beautiful remote Blue Ridge Mountains on the Appalachian Trail nearest to Fox Creek and Dickey Gap trail heads, bordering the Mount Rodgers National Park. Fairwood Rd. (Route 603) is just off of Troutdale Highway (Route 16). We are located about 100 yards past the local Volunteer Fire Department. Set the GPS coordinates long before you hit the mountains, as cell phone reception is very limited.
